Recap from January 2025

We had two beginner classes (Intro to Weightlifting) in the month of January. The classes were intended to introduce beginners to the sport of weightlifting, covering basics of weightlifting and the type of movements involved in the sport. The classes were set up in a way that will allow beginners to know about the sport without being overwhelmed, as this being their first experience. This was a good opportunity for them to see what areas are lacking in their overall movement patterns and see how weightlifting can help address these issues.

Barry started his weightlifting journey in Oct 2021. He started
weightlifting as a complete beginner. His initial training was
focused more on improving mobility, building strength &

times per week. He is very dedicated, self-disciplined and
